Dental Sealants

Dental sealants are a thin resin coatings that are applied to the pits and fissures on molars. This is to provide long term protection from tooth decay for people that are prone to dental cavities.

Application of dental sealants do not require drilling or removal of tooth structure. The process is short and easy. Sealants are painted on after your professional cleaning as a resin gel. Sealants are cured onto the molars so that they may last up to 5-10 years depending on the way a person chews.
